Miloco Builds were commissioned to complete a state of the art writing room for Kaiser Chiefs’ drummer, producer and writer Nick Hodgson. With Miloco Builds’ Pete Hoffman managing the build, it was designed by acoustician Nick Whitaker, who frequently lends his expertise to our projects. Nick Whitaker was able to optimise the available space and include a drum room, vocal booth and mix environment that met Nick Hodgson’s exacting standards, the results of which really speak for themselves.
Miloco were also on hand to provide bespoke furniture to house Nick’s synth collection, and installer Finn Eiles oversaw the wiring and commissioning to ensure the perfect signal path.
Once again the Phillips Hue lighting system that we install in many of our studio projects was provided to add to the creative vibe of this lovely daylit recording space.
