Having previously refurbished the control room in the world famous Abbey Road Studio 2, Miloco Builds were again approached to remodel Room 30 into a brand new mastering suite for top engineers Frank Arkwright and Miles Showell.
Throughout this build there were some complex structural considerations and isolation issues to overcome, besides delivering on the exacting acoustic standards of the Abbey Road technical department and Frank and Miles themselves. Nick Whitaker oversaw the acoustic design, and the fit-out was handled by Mickey Whelan.
The final result is a great looking room with natural light and immaculate acoustics, which has successfully kept both clients and engineers more than happy.
