Acoustic Rooms

Acoustic Rooms

A vital part of each recording studio design we carry out is to devise a system to maximise the tuning of acoustic rooms. A proven method we have used regularly and successfully is to implement acoustic panel systems. This is a slightly cheaper option to building treatment into the studio’s walls, but is still vastly effective.

Once a detailed evaluation of an existing environment has been carried out, our recording studio builders will set about constructing frequency-specific acoustic panels that simply hang on walls and ceilings.

We can finish these cloth-faced panels with a wood surround (typically oak), or we can offer a sprayed MDF finish with holes cut out to allow the acoustic treatment to function as it should. Normally, we use fabrics from the Camira ranges as they not only offer ideal properties for use in acoustic and soundproofed rooms, but also come in a huge range of colours and conform to current fire regulations.
